Wayne Henderson
As a young man completing my apprenticeship in carpentry/joinery I gained experience working with forklifts, the movement of load, progressing onto the vehicle loading cranes and dogging loads. While working on different sites I was exposed to basic intermediate rigging concepts which eventually led on to using mobile cranes and tower cranes. Throughout my experiences I found myself wanting to learn as much as I could so I could pass that knowledge and skill on to people whom didn’t have it, or didn’t have it to extent I felt was necessary.
These experience led me to become an assessor with Australian Easy Train Pty Ltd, with over 15 years experience. As an accredited assessor I have been conducting training and assessment in forklift, stock picker, elevated work platform, dogging, basic and intermediate rigging, and all cranes and crane operations.
The best aspect of my role as an assessor is being able to guide, motivate, train and develop skills, knowledge and experience for those whom want to improve their existing skills, gain new skills set or look for gainful employment in the area.
